1.) What is mobile banking?

Mobile Banking is a free app for your Apple or Android device that allows you to access account information and make transactions from your smartphone. You can use the app to view account summary and balances, transfer funds between accounts, and deposit checks.


2.) How do I get mobile banking on my phone?

You can download the FSB Mobile Banking app in the AppStore on an Apple device, or in Google Play on an Android device by searching for FSB InTouch. To access Mobile Banking simply open the app and login using the same user ID and password you use for your Online Banking account.


3.) What is mobile deposit?

FSB's mobile deposit is a way to electronically deposit checks from your iPhone®, iPod touch® or AndroidTM device using the Farmers State Bank Mobile Banking app.


4.) How do I know if I am eligible to use mobile deposit? 

To use mobile deposit, you must be a current Farmers State Bank customer with a checking or savings account. You must also be enrolled in Online Banking and have downloaded the free FSB Mobile Banking app. Before depositing your first check, you must read and accept the Mobile Deposit agreement.


5.) How much does it cost to deposit a check with my phone?

 Mobile check deposit is free to FSB customers*. Just download the FSB Mobile Banking app to begin.


6.) Is mobile deposit safe?

Check deposits made through the FSB mobile banking app are protected according to the highest financial industry standards. Security features include: password protection, internet firewalls, and 128-bit encryption. Making a deposit with your phone is as safe as using Online Banking.


7.) How do I make my first mobile deposit? 

Making your first mobile check deposit is fast and easy:

  1. Make sure you have downloaded the iPhone®, iPod touch® or AndroidTM app
  2. Sign in on the FSB Mobile Banking app using your Online Banking user ID and password
  3. Choose "Mobile Deposit" on the home screen
  4. Select the checking or savings account into which you want to deposit the check
  5. Enter the amount of your check
  6. Endorse the back of your check with "For Mobile Deposit Only"
  7. Snap pictures of the front and back of your check
  8. Submit the check for deposit
  9. You will receive onscreen confirmation that your check was received by FSB 


8.) Why am I unable to deposit my check?

There are a few common errors that may cause your check to be rejected:

Try using mobile deposit in a well lit area to prevent shadows and poor image quality. Keep your hands clear of the check while taking the picture.


 9.) How will I know when the check has been posted to my account?

 After submitting images of the front and back of your check, you will receive onscreen confirmation that FSB has received your deposit. At that time, your check will be processed by FSB staff. Please see FSB's Funds Availability Policy for more information about deposits. Please do not dispose of your check or attempt to process at another institution or through another channel (ATM or in-branch). You should hold onto your check for 91 days and then destroy or shred it.

Deposit limits and other restrictions apply. Access to FSB's Mobile Banking apps and Mobile Deposit require a valid FSB Online Banking username and password.
